Selected 3 months International Artist Residency Program at The New York Art Residency and Studios (NARS) Foundation - is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization committed to supporting artists and curators on an international level as well engaging the local community in Brooklyn and the Greater New York area.
The residency has been assisted by the Irish Government through the Arts Council of Ireland and Leitrim County Council and generously funded by the public through Fund:it.
Here and Now
The exhibition is a response to Brigitta Varadi's recent four week Art Residency at ChaNorth, Chashama, Pine Plain, New York. Each work acts as a memory capsule, capturing the light and colors of a particular moment. Exhibition was opened by author Brian Leyden, 7th November 2013.

Chashama Studio Residency, NY, USA. 7. June-7. July 2013. Chashama North offers a serene residency for artists of multiple disciplines to work, providing dedicated studio time away from the distractions of everyday life. Chashama supported creativity in New York City for the past 18 years.
